As alluded to in one of my favorite movies, Mean Girls, Halloween is the one holiday where you can wear the least amount of clothing and no one will really care. In fact, most people encourage seductive outfits (although they'd never admit to it)!
Halloween is no longer about being scary, going trick-or-treating, or seeing who is bold enough to visit that cemetery at midnight. Instead, Halloween is the time to really express yourself—bring out the other personality that normally is restrained on every other day of the year. This is the time to party, get intoxicated, and just have a great time, and with all the masquerade parties falling on a Friday this year, there's no reason why you can't hang all night. In honor of this great holiday, I thought it would be helpful to share the top sexy Halloween costumes for this year.
Little Red Riding Hood. Believe it or not, this childhood character can definitely be sexy. With a short skirt, knee-high boots, and that famous red cape, you'd better not go visit Grandma's house in this get-up. To go along with this costume, have your beau dress up as the Big, Bad Wolf.
Tinker Bell. She's cute and she's magical, but this Halloween, bring out Tinker Bell's sexy side with your short, strapless dress, high heels, angel wings, magic wand, and fairy dust.
Sarah Palin. Palin-mania is everywhere. The VP candidate has her own wine, her own sandwich, and even her own action figure. It's no wonder that Halloween costumes of this memorable politician are in high demand. A wig in Palin's likeness and rimless glasses are a must to make this costume a success.
The Joker. With the success of the 2008 hit, The Dark Knight, the character of The Joker regained his popularity by the wonderful, yet creepy performance by actor Heath Ledger. As weird as the Joker's face looks, he is still one sexy villain.
Venom. Let's admit it—Venom had a much cooler role in the box office hit Spiderman 3 than the title character was, and every guy wanted to have that same swagger. Well this year, let's leave the Spiderman costumes to the young boys and let the men have fun as his sexy archenemy.
Wonder Woman. The world's most famous female superhero is definitely sexy. Transform yourself into this character and become the life of the party.
Indiana Jones. It should be pretty easy to recreate this famed archeologist's rugged look this Halloween.
Gladiator or Spartan from the movie 300. Do you really need to question the sexiness of this costume? The only thing you need to make this outfit a winner is killer abs—the women will love it.
Iron Man. This is yet another comic-strip character turned movie star that makes a great Halloween costume.
Neo (the Matrix). All black, leather, with shades and agile moves? Nothing could be sexier.
