Lady Gaga Halloween Costume

Lady Gaga is a popular music artists who has catchy music and wears shocking costumes. There have been various rumors about her all over the internet which help keep her a hot music star in the spotlight.

If you are a fan of Lady Gaga or perhaps you want to dress up in a Lady Gaga to make fun of her, this article will tell you how you can dress up in one of her various looks.

Lady Gaga has so many different and shocking outfits that it's hard to pick just one look. This article though, will focus on one of her outfits that she wore in January 2009. Click here to see the pictures for your inspiration.

Hair: You'll need a really long haired platinum blonde wig. Halloween Costume Stores sell a wide variety of wigs and you can even find long haired wigs at Wal-Mart when they put their Halloween stuff out. You don't want a classy looking wig; pick the cheap trashy looking one to achieve the Lady Gaga look you're going for. The wig should go down to about your chest/breast area but if it's a little longer, that's ok. Once you have your wig on, take two pieces, one from each side of your head and make a bow out of the hair in the center. Use the hair to tie it all together. Don't worry if you can't get it out again, this is your costume and you want the bow to stay while you're out on Halloween night.

Outfit: Lady Gaga is wearing a black latex bodysuit that acts as a top and a pair of paints. The first thing you have to realize is that a latex bodysuit can be expensive and hard to find so you will have to improvise. Instead of a bodysuit, buy a vinyl cat suit. The cat suit is connected but it zips up and has a zipper on the front. It will still work for your Lady GaGa costume however. Yandy.com has a black cat suit for $53.95.

You can also go with a top and a bottom piece. Yandy.com has a vinyl halter top that looks just as shiny as latex does. The top has three hooks down the chest area, making it have a very sexy look. The top costs $27.95. You could also go with a zip up corset that Yandy.com sells for $47.95. Shopbob has latex pants for $97 dollars. It ends up being cheaper to go with the cat suit but go with whatever you like best.

Lady GaGa's outfit has a black section in the middle that isn't as shiny as the rest of her bodysuit. You can get close to the same look by buying a long scarf or a section of black fabric from the fabric store. Wrap it around your waist and tie it at the back.

Shoes: All you need is a simple pair of black pumps, found at almost any store that sells women's shoes.

Jewelry: Surprisingly this Lady Gaga costume has only minimal jewelry. Buy a strand of pearls; you can get fake pearls at a number of stores both in person and online.

Sunglasses: No matter if it's day or night, you'll need the shades to help pull off the outfit. You'll want oversize black shades. Try to get ones that the lenses are in a circle shape. Ecrater sells a pair for $4.99 that would work with your outfit.

Makeup: In the picture you're using for inspiration for your Lady Gaga costume, she is not wearing that much makeup. Wear a light foundation base with pink lip gloss.

Purse: Lady Gaga's purse is your prop. She has a large red purse. You can buy one at a new store, a thrift store, put out a request on Freecycle or buy one from Stacks and Stacks.com for $50.99.
